1. Are your oil painting reproductions really hand painted ?

A: We only sell 100% handmade oil paintings, hand painted by experienced artists. We don’t use printing, pressing or technological tricks to create our paintings.

We do NOT sell posters, photographs, giclee prints, canvas transfers, art prints or prints that have been glazed. We only sell paintings 100% handmade in the traditional way by real artists and are done on linen/coton canvas.

Each oil painting is painted to the highest quality standard that our painters are able to make at the moment.

*You have the option to tell us how you would like your commissioned masterpiece to be tailor-made for you. We can try to create a faithful replica of the painting of your choice, or we can create a customized reproduction with color or size modifications. If you have another image or color version of the painting that you would like the artist to work from, please let us know in advance, (NOT at the final stage) and email us your picture as an attachment.

** Please do NOT let anyone talk you into expecting 100% similarity between the reproduction and original artwork. It is not humanly possible.
Slight detail loss and minimal color variance is a possibility when recreating paintings especially modern styles like abstract, impressionism or contemporary artworks, however every feasible step is taken to insure the integrity and accuracy of the final image to its original.

*** Pictures of the same artwork always look different in the public domain or from one site to another. Frequently the color of pictures distributed by the actual owner of a painting such as a musuem are intentionally inaccurate because they don’t want the artwork reproduced accurately.


2. Can you do paintings from photographs ?

A: Yes. We paint from customer’s photographs or digital images.

Any photo can be reproduced in oil, but only the best photo’s will translate into quality paintings. If you are undecided as to which photo would make the best oil portrait, then send more than one and let us help you decide. There is NO cost or obligation to send us photo’s to look at.

If you are looking for an oil painting that we don’t carry, you’d like to reproduce as an oil painting please contact us.

3. How do I order ?

A: We do not provide the shopping cart option. Most customers have questions that need direct response and we feel that we provide a more customized and personal service by answering your questions and taking your order via e-mail or phone.

4. How do I cancel or change an order ?

A: If you want to cancel or change an order, e-mail us at prdhotelart@gmail.com
If your order has already been shipped, you may simply return it to us.
There are, however, no returns on these purchases.


5. How long will I have to wait for my painting ?

A: Between 3 and 4 weeks. Since painting with oil on canvas is a complicated, time-consuming process, our artists will spend between 10 and 14 business days creating your masterpiece. If your painting is much larger, or if it is extremely complex, the artist will spend a bit more time with it.

After you have approved the painting, we will ship it to you immediately. Shipping can take 3 to 4 days. When you order your painting, we will send you a detailed timeline that shows when you will see a sample and when you will receive your painting.


6. How much are the shipping charges ?

A: We charge you the actual shipping cost. We do not offer "free shipping" (there is no such things as a free lunch).


7. What is the return policy ?

A:All original art and limited edition purchases made online are backed by our 14 days, money-back guarantee. If you wish to make a return, e-mail us at prdhotelart@gmail.com within fourteen (14)days of receipt to notify us of the return.

We will send you instructions on where to ship the item. We ask that your return be shipped back at in the original tube. Returns must be insured for their full value.
The cost of returning unwanted purchases rests with the customer.

After we receive your return, we will refund your money for the price of the artwork. Shipping costs will not be refunded except in the case of damage. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a penalty.


8. What to do if my painting arrives damaged ? Or doesn’t arrive at all ?

A: In the very rare case your painting arrives damaged, please refuse the delivery so we can receive the package back from the shipping company and claim the insurance funds. We will then paint a new painting for you and will ship it to you between 2 to 3 weeks. This extremely rare circumstances does not constitute a reason for a refund as the damage is responsibility of the shipping company and as well we will paint for you a new painting absolutely free.


9. What is the pricing policy ?

A: The prices of artwork are listed in Euro’s and/or US dollars. If you wish to make a payment in non Euro-funds, please contact us at prdhotelart@gmail.com and we will assist you.

Each commissioned work is individually priced. The price depends on the complexity of the (original) work, such as the style, number of subjects, quality level of painting and canvas you require, size and quantity you order.


10. What are the payment options ?

A: You can pay by bank wire transfer. After conformation of your order we will send you the bank details.
Upon receipt of your payment an invoice will be sent to you as confirmation of your purchase.

Please make your bank aware that you (the customer) will be paying banking fees involved in the bank wire transfer.
